Based in Southsea on the south coast of England, I have a serious case of wanderlust. As a travel copy writer and PR-type-person with 20+ years of experience in the amazing travel industry, my job has given me the chance to visit some of the most inspiring destinations around the world.
With a love for adrenaline-fuelled activities, offbeat events and hidden gems, I’ve written for a range of national and international publications since 2002. Among other adventures, I’ve held my breath in a shark cage in South Africa, canoed down the Zambezi alongside crocodiles, volunteered at a ‘bonanza castle’ in Canada, practiced yoga in the rice paddies of Bali, slid down the world’s fastest zip wire and fired at shooting ranges in California.
Luckily I’m equally passionate about the beautiful waterfront city that I live in, which keeps me satisfied when the day job doesn’t allow so much wandering.
